STAR Testing
California Department of Education requires all students in grades 2-11 who attend public schools to test their knowledge and skills in academic subjects (English, Math, Science, and Social Science) every Spring. La Habra High School will be administering California Standards Tests (CSTs) to all students in grades 9-11 April 21st - May 8th. The daily bell schedule and class periods in session will be adjusted during the 3 week testing window.

Food Services - Beef Products
As you may have read in the newspapers or heard on the news, the California Department of Education has urged school districts across the state to stop serving beef products provided by Westland Meat Company. The District has never purchased or received beef products from Westland Meat Company. The District has never received Federal food commodities from unknown sources.
Therefore, beef products served to District students and staff members will continue to be purchased from sources determined to be safe.

Congratulations to ROP Auto
Congratulations to John Bruestle, Ken Heil, and Jose Luna. For the second year in a row, Mr. Bruestle has had two of his students make the top two in the county for the ROP automotive competition. This year, seniors Kenny Heil and Jose Luna came in second place. Each student recieved the following scholarship prizes:
$3,OOO Universal Technical Institute
$2,500 Advanced Technology Institute
OCADA Scholarship to Community Colleges-1 year free tuition.
