| The bus schedules are arranged so that students arrive in time for 7:45 am
classes in the morning and leave in the afternoon after 2:42 pm.
Students eligible for bus transportation will be issued an ID card by the
school,
and upon verification of eligibility, will be issued a bus sticker by the
driver. Each
student will present his/her ID card each time he/she uses the bus for home-to-
school transportation. Each student will be assigned to the bus route which
provides the closest, safest designated bus stop to his/her residence.
To ensure the comfort and safety of all, students on buses will comply with
State laws covering this type of service. Some provisions of the law are as
follows:
- Students must remain seated while the bus is in motion.
- Loud or boisterous conduct is not allowed on a school bus.
- When crossing the highway after leaving the bus, students must pass in
front of the bus.
- At points where traffic is not controlled by a traffic officer or traffic
signal,the flashing light signal system shall be operated, and the bus
driver shall escort the pupils across the roadway.
- The driver is in full charge of the students at all times while they are
passengers, and students must obey the bus driver's directions.
