ADMINISTRATION
The signal for a fire drill is a pulsing tone transmitted over the public address system. When the pulsing tone is sounded, students will leave classrooms following the directions given by the teacher. The all-clear fire signal is a steady tone.

For disaster drills, teachers will direct students to drop and cover, and wait for evacuation instructions. Teachers will lead students to designated evacuation locations on the upper athletic field. A steady tone will be sounded to signal the return to classes.

A Code 99 drill calls for a lock-down of school facilities for security or safety reasons. An administrator or other campus personnel will announce "This is a Code 99" over the loudspeaker system. Students will follow the directions of the teacher in their class; students not in direct supervision by a teacher (example, on the way to the restroom) should go to the nearest classroom. An all-clear will be called over the loud speaker system.
