Cap and Gown Sales Information
Attention Seniors and Senior parents!
Caps and gowns for graduation on June 14, 2012 will go on sale again during the week of April 23. They can be purchased in Room 120 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. during that week for $30 cash.
After June 1, cap and gown sales will be $35 cash and only available for purchase during student lunch. If you have any questions or are interested in sponsoring a senior who cannot afford a cap/gown, please call Mrs. Stanley at 562.266.5011.

NJROTC cadets finish in top half for NJROTC state speech competition
Held Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Martin Luther King High School in Riverside. The cadets were required to research, write and present a 5 minute speech on a choice of military topics. All 3 of La Habra cadets finished in the top 12 from among 23 cadets from Southern California.

The U.S. Ambassador will visit Afghanistan and Qatar next week for talks with the Afghan and Qatari governments as the United States seeks to promote Afghan reconciliation, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Wednesday.


Freeway League Athlete of the Year
Aaron Porter has been chosen as the 2012 Freeway League Athlete of the Year. Aaron has competed for La Habra in football and baseball. He will attend UCLA in the fall on an athletic scholarship. Congratulations!
