To close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society. AVID provides academic support, teaches critical thinking and organizational skills, and fosters determination, confidence, and leadership so students are equipped to reach their full potential in both college and career paths

AVID Requirements

We want our students to have the very best opportunities to thrive and achieve their dreams, and to support them in reaching their fullest potential, they should cultivate a strong desire to attend a four-year university, maintain all passing grades with no D’s or F’s, show consistent attendance, and exemplify good citizenship in all aspects of their school life.
