Work Permit Instructions

Work Permit request forms may be obtained in-person from Ms. Reyna or Ms. Fragoso in the College and Career Center (RM 20) during the school year and from the Summer School Secretary during the summer OR it can be downloaded from the link below. 
Request forms should be completed and signed by the employer and parent before they are returned the form to Ms. Reyna or Fragoso to be processed.
Student grades and attendance are checked before official work permits are issued. Students with poor attendance may be refused a work permit or have reduced work hours.

Work permits are issued based on the following criteria:

  • You must obtain employment first
  • Have satisfactory attendance
  • You must be between 14-18 years of age

Grades

  • You must have a 2.0 GPA or higher 
  • No F's in graduation required classes
  • The student's graduation status isn't in jeopardy.
